FollowMe Postal Delivery Services Vehicle Concept by Michael Barthels. Usually, an urban automobile is used pertaining to last mile delivery, Follow Myself mobility concept for postal delivery solutions has been designed to provide greater flexibility in inner city or even urban areas distribution. Michael Barthels, a German industrial designer, got an idea on a distribution concept in which could leverage the existing public transport infrastructure, particularly for the initial shipping goods into city spaces. If you notice, the rapid increase in trade via the internet affects your increase of targeted traffic for package deliveries. Some of these packages are oversized and in fact can’t fit into the delivery vehicles which usually might cause safety risk to additional road users. The particular objective of this project was not just to find option to this problem yet also to develop a new delivery vehicle in which could adapt to urban situations.
