Honeycomb LCD Watch Concept by Peter Fletcher can be organic in form along with will hopefully appeal to both sexes, the honeycomb display has a futuristic appear which may appeal for you to gadget lovers. The natural theme might also appeal to a lot more environmentally aware people. This design has 2 time telling methods: one digital using hexagon shaped amounts, the second is really a digital analogue layout. Both displays are generally spread across four segments: two for hours along with two for minutes. The remaining segments surrounding the four main period telling ones randomly display other information, this could contain date, am/pm, 12hr/24hr, alarm, chime, logo as well as downloaded modes. The controls are generally soft touch buttons also in the shape of the honeycomb segments. This particular designs stands out because it is visually striking but really simple from a manufacturing perspective. The particular display would consist of 1 LCD screen covered by a perforated rubber cover which divides it into the honeycomb segments.

Peter says:
The idea for this watch was inspired by honeycomb as the name suggests. The naturally occurring structures are both beautiful and have a high strength to weight ratio. I found the segmentation of the honeycomb shape very appealing and though it would make a novel time display.
