Dining Utensils for Elders Concept
Dining Utensils for Elders Concept by Yang Jiong, Cai Wei & Liao Dan from SixVector Design was design based on a great intensive study of the consuming methods and styles of the elderly, and the physiology of their particular hands. A bowl and any spoon have been created. The bowl incorporates several special characteristics. Its double shell contains a thermo liquid that releases heat within a designated time to help keep food warm. Thus, the food will not turn cold even though it takes a whilst for the user to eat dinner. A smaller ergonomically designed handle assists along with picking up and holding your bowl. The irregular curve of the bowl’s internal shell helps it be easier to scoop up food. The spoon includes a large silica-gel handle and the appropriately curved outline that makes it easier to hold. The particular angled spoon head means that significantly less contortion of the arm and side is required while eating. The thermo liquid used within the bowl is a sodium acetate (CH3COONa) solution, which stores heat by stage transition.
