LED TAPE Harnesses Solar Energy Concept by Yuan Xiao, Wu Jia, Wang Junmiao, Pan Dai & He Shushu is an adhesive-backed sign strip that lights up. The actual tape is styled for you to look like regular hazard tape, but the black and yellow stripes are more than simple blocks of colour. The black areas are solar panels. They power the actual LEDs that are set from the yellow areas. Thus, at night, the video tape becomes an illuminated warning sign with no need for the input of power energy. The tape might be adhered to the rear of a car, to a road barrier, and so on. The tape could possibly be applied in any width or even pattern to suit the user’s needs.
