MAGNET TRAY Magnetic Tray-Holding System Concept by Chen Hongyu, Tang Ruoqing, Wang Sheng, Zhu Baixuan & Bian Jing is a magnetic tray-holding system that provides a quick solution to the problem associated with overcrowding in fast foodstuff restaurants. The Magnet Tray system utilises a new simple shelf-like splint structure that is attached to the actual wall. It contains magnets that attract magnetised food trays. The trays are usually cantilevered from the wall in a temporary bar formation. Thus, the diner’s hands are freed up to the consumption of their own meal. Hooks on the underside of the shelf permit for the hanging of bags.
