Kia Shift Concept Car is an independent design proposal for a two-mode sports car. The concept was created through Iranian designer Mohsen Khorsandi, a 21 year-old Mechanical Engineering student with the University of Isfahan, Iran. Khorsandi claims the concept was inspired by simply race cars from the 1970s and 80s, namely the actual Porsche 917 and the 908. Although its difficult to see the connection – specially when the Kia Shift concept is dressed in its full bodywork. The racing connection becomes a bit clearer when the two sides with the vehicle are removed for you to reveal an open wheel racer and also a perfect track-day tool. Your two seats of the Kia Shift concept are usually laid out in a tandem arrangement, allowing with an extremely narrow overall package – perfect with regard to racing. Like the exterior the interior is very clean as well as minimalist, with very little to distract the driver from the task of driving. Two neatly incorporated roll-over bars protect the occupants in the event of your crash.
