There is this quote: “Time is a predator that stalks us all of our lives.” It made me think if that’s true. Actually with all the things we do, time is running away, getting eaten up by activity. Not we are the prey, time is. I made this concept of a watch, that looks like biting time.
Itheann (gealic for eat) has this C-shaped case that looks like a mouth full of teeth – in an abstract and stylish way. You can wear the watch with the opening left or right because of it’s symmetrical design.
It is a 12-5-9 watch. There are three linear arrays of LEDs that tell the twelve hours, the five 10-min increments and the nine single minutes. Each third LED is bigger which eases up counting. An extra LED at the very end of the time display is the pm indicator. Before time is told, a biting animation plays. After 5 seconds, the LED display shrinks and looks like getting swallowed. Yummy!
Itheann has a simple display, a striking look and helps you to hunt down time.
