3D Tilt Watch Concept Design by Peter Fletcher
This watch design is a fairly conventional analogue disc watch with a more 3D look.The discs are extruded and tapered to give a more dynamic look and resemble a car disc brake or tyre. This 3D disc arrangement can tilt (hence the name) to assist in time reading but also to add to the quirky look.
The three discs display the time via a window/viewer in the housing. The bottom of the three discs displays the hours, the middle one displays groups of ten minutes and the top disc displays the single minutes. This design would also work easily well using a more conventional format of: one disc for hours, one for minutes and one for seconds.
This design has an industrial feel that will apeal to people who like engineered mechanical products. The addition of the tilting display will apeal to those who like things that are quirky and little different.
