Ssangyong e-XIV is an electric powered concept and a B-segment CUV. Its drivetrain features a range-extender gasoline engine which acts as a generator to recharge the batteries while on the go.
Ssangyong are keeping much of the e-XIV’s details a secret until the car’s official unveiling on 27th September. The only other information is the vehicle’s size. The concept is 4,160mm long, 1,790mm wide, 1,575mm high, and with a 2,600mm wheelbase.
Like the XIV-2 the e-XIV might not be the most interesting concept car ever created. However the fact it’s a Ssangyong and it doesn’t induce an involuntary retching in the back of the throat can only be a good thing.
